Bee-zee bee.

I feel like every day this week I've been running around.
I feel, kind of exhausted.
I feel like just lying in bed for a couple of hours, to contemplate.
I feel like taking a long train ride down to Singapore to be with my best friend.
I feel like going for a quiet holiday with my close friends, although I know it won't be quiet for long.
I feel like sitting in a dark cinema long after the movie has ended, just to be quiet.
I feel like spooning with You. (XD)

Why?

Monday, fund-raiser meeting with Sarita, Mallini, and Kenny Yap. After which I went for lunch with Ms Juelle, Pon and Michelle at Chilli's @ BSC. That was SO fun! :) Miss Ju told us about the baby, being pregnant, and stuff. I have a feeling Pon is officially afraid of one day having a sympathetic pregnancy. xD

Tuesday, classes end at 4pm. Heck.

Wednesday, worse. 4.30pm.
>On a sidetrack note, HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY, ASHIKIN!
Love you loads, and I PURPOSEFULLY painted the flower on the tube-top so you have no choice but to wear it! :D Take pictures the first time. Now you can look like a NORMAL uni student. A normal uni FEMALE student. :) With FLOPS.

Thursday, Ashikin and Adila came back to HELP! And there was this whole stressful exercise of statute-searching during Legal Skills, and then.. case preparation for Criminal Law. SIGH. Judges are WAY too long winded. I mean, 36 pages for ONE judgement. Not kidding. Then there was meeting Suzanna and Chiara at MV. Mayuri was there, and later a Yew Ann and Leo also from Student Exchange. I learnt to say Vafunkulo in Italian. Comment me for the translation! xD

And today.. movie with Nisha and Iris. Awesome. GIRLS, AND GUYS, go watch Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. It's GOOD. And I haven't watched it, but Nisha says The Proposal is even better! Anyway, those comments will come later. Lunch at the Apartment wasn't too bad, but too expensive for my liking. I mean, 8 bucks for Iced Lemon Tea? Kidding. NOT.

Exhausted now. Headache from the super-sweet popcorn.
Less convoluted post soon. :)

I love you, you awesome spooner. :D

And yet, I try again, over and over.

Gosh, you know how frustrating it is to keep trying to get people to get together just for the sake of getting together?

FU*KING frustrating.

If you guys don't freaking care, then tell me.
Then I won't bother trying with you stupid farts ANYWAY.

Geez.

Another landmark in time.

25th July 2009

Mock Trial.
We had been preparing for this every day for a week now.. and it was finally Saturday. THE Saturday! In college we all met up in that tiny meeting room next to the Moot Court and starting changing, doing our hair, some people were putting on makeup, etc..
and the result, what you see in the picture. :)

Don't I look like a lawyer? Bib and all? We had to go down to the Masjid India area to get that stuff. Belinda and Shaz weren't lawyers, hence they were dressed more casually. Janice and I look like colourless people! How boring. Gosh, shopping while I'm practising will be so darn boring! Lol.

Well, during the mock trial it was pretty alright. I didn't forget my lines, though sadly, we 'lost' our case by a 78-90 vote! Stupid teenage jury. xD After that we got back to the room for camslutting time.

Lunch.
Then we went to OU for lunch - Carolyn, Mallini, Joe, Shaun, Jason and I. The rest got conveniently stuck in Main Block Pizza Hut, jbbakjwhguwg people! Anyway, we had lunch at Jack's place. Meaty awesome stuff! After which, we went to watch Land of the Lost at GSC. I'll have to say, the movie is SUPER crappy! But it WAS funny at times, that I must admit. I sat next to Joe and he was complaining about how movies shown here in Selangor always start too late! Poor Mallini, I clung on to her jacket every time those Slasteeks appeared on screen. All in all it was SUPER-FUN!

Surprise Dinner.
After everyone else left, I decide it was time to get prepared for Aunt Juliet's surprise birthday dinner! I walked all the way to the old wing of OU and I got her a bouquet of roses (which were really gorgeous, I never knew pink roses could look so pretty in bloom). I got some balloons after much deliberation, and I was pretty darn worried about blowing ALL of that by myself. They didn't sell pumps by itself at Toys R' Us.. so yes.

I headed over to Plus One Shabu Shabu and got into the room.. and started blowing balloons. All those you see in the picture.. Yes, I blew most of them. Some 4 others were blown by Wang Yi, who is from HeNan in China, and both of us had fun blowing the balloons. She probably won't ever read this, but girl, THANKS again! Meeting her made me really grateful that my parents can afford to give me an education, and I don't have to go to Indonesia someplace to earn my living.

People began to arrive soon enough. And we gave Aunt Juliet the best and biggest surprise of her 61 years! She looked really cute in shock. :P

Fr. Philip was SO mean. Burst my balloon with his key, randomly. Everyone jumped! But the cake from CakeSense was REALLY good.

The rest of the night is history. Except the fact that dessert wine will dehydrate me and steal my voice, I suppose... I'll never learn my lesson. ;)

All in all it was a great day! Surely one I will remember for always.
And most of all, even though I hardly saw you.. You were there for me. Spraying my hair and stuff like that? I can always count on you.
Seeing you today will BE SO GOOD. :)

Well just the last thing on my mind
Baby
You're the best thing I could possibly have in my life right now
And I mean it
My family loves you
I love you
My friends love you too I hope
And whatever you do
You will do it great
Because I will be here to make sure you do
Especially if you tell me it is what YOU want
Cannot wait for your tournament either
That weekend is totally booked up for you
And I just want to be with you
ALWAYS

Hugh says ALWAYS is a silly word to begin with
But we are way past the beginning
Though we never have an ending

Life is short
Live it

Literary Night(s).

Gosh, adrenaline rush much!

This morning I followed Adeline back to school.. The very idea of going back to school to see a bunch of juniors that I didn't know (yet) wasn't really very appealing at (that obscene) 6.30am when I had to wake up.

Neither was the fact that I was going to be alone till 8.30am, in my old school (which by now, has kind of become alienating and different).

Still, I dragged myself out of bed and got showered.

NO REGRETS. (Being very technical, that statement is a foreshadowing of good news, by the way.)

I arrive in school, and as usual, strangers like me turn heads. Both of teachers and students. I decide to go to the canteen and try to get something to eat, but I then decide against it because Pn. Sabina walks by me and hugs me and tells me that she's eternally grateful for my turning up.

I grab a seat at the um, place outside the staffroom (which, by the way, seniors, is nicely air-conditioned now)... The name of that area, sadly, evades my memory. Anyway, teachers pass and mumble random things to me. Ms. Azlina didn't forget to mention how 'voluptuous' I've become, leaving me fiddling nervously wondering how sincere she was. (Apparently, quite, because she even told Hitakshi and Mdm. Yong the same thing a bit later while we were all chatting. HILARIOUS.)

At 7.40 the bell rings, and I mention to Pn. Asimah that there are some ELDS girls at the hall. She panics, and persuades me to run over to the hall and get the girls to attend assembly first, before any sort of rehearsal. I do. My first encounter with the girls, rather pleasant I suppose. They LISTENED to me! Must have been that new shirt.. gave me some sort of authority, maybe? (:

I spend the whole of assembly alternating between standing up for Negaraku and Ikrars and sitting down listening to speeches at that area which I can't name now. I'm lucky I brought Calamity Physics with me to flip through again, and surprisingly time flew by me quick enough. I eavesdropped on several Head Prefect election speeches since the names Sarah Palin and (my very handsome) Barack Obama caught my attention. On hindsight, the same girl who mentioned those names became the Head Prefect 09/10 by vote!

At 8.40 I head over to the hall. More girls are coming down, all giving me weird stares, wondering who I am and why I'm there. Someone asks me if i was the D.O. for ELDS back in Form 5. Of course NOT! But I get hugs and some acknowledgment from the Form Fivers, and that kind of warms my heart. I rush some of them into the hall.

Getting a seat for myself, I then head over to talk to some girls, and then give a short speech on the microphone, telling them how I'm a spectator and how they were going to have to convince me to buy tickets. I even frankly said this
"If you guys suck, I'm not buying tickets for nuts."

Anyway, we begin the rehearsal at 9.15am. I'm jotting down notes as well as taking the timing for Pn. Sabina. By then Hitakshi already made it and gave me my morning sustenance - home made brownies! (:

So we're watching, timing, making friends along the way. I give the girls some comments, etc, and then offer some help, tell some jokes. Some girls glare at me for supporting the teachers' comments, but well, it's all in good showmanship!

What was fun though, was offering my help to Jaishree in acting out her fairy part. Pn. Asimah mentioned how she really had trouble fitting into her character, as her 'bippity boppity boo' apparently turned out a big boo-boo instead, last week. She and I head outside the hall and i give her personal fairy training. It was oddly hypocritical, as I simply can NOT remember acting my fairy part back when we had Gardens. Worse, I actually felt like MYSELF when I was being all faerie-like! xD Even after 4 years, my teachers remember me acting as one of the fairies in Midsummer Night's Dream. Even Ashikin does, actually. I'm the only one who conveniently forgot. Must be ZeZhen's fault I despise fairies so much!

After that, Hitakshi and I walked over to the canteen for some food. The food wasn't all that great, but the PRICES.. HEAVEN. I mean, you feed yourself crazy for RM3! There's nasi lemak, a drink, and other titbits. I had that fishballs-on-a-stick I used to eat every day! We met Pn. Zainon, and had a great chat with her. Hitakshi went to steal the Form Sixers' kuih talam.. and to serve her right, it sucked. xD

We then decide to go on our Santa Claus round! Hitakshi baked brownies, right, so we walk around distributing it to our favourite teachers and writing notes, etc. More teachers hold us up for chats, and we repeat ourselves, mostly. Hitakshi then has to leave for that La-la place in KL, somewhere, so I head over back to the hall.

They're done! But I got to model this pretty, funky hairband a girl self-decorated with colourful ribbons. We actually discussed plausible marketing plans for Mosaics2009 merchandise.. and then Pn. Sabina also decides we need a skull mask for Merchant of Venice!

Shopping, baby!

Haha, not so much shopping, more like scouting around for weird stuff. Off Pn. Sabina, Pn. Asimah and I go to Old Town for lunch and looking around in shops for Halloween masks. We settle for something that looks like Bug-Man would have worn in his days.. two of those, in fact. Then I also buy some Apam Balik for myself, which I haven't had in ages, really.. (Funnily enough I left it in Pn. Sabina's car, she called me to let me know just now, although I already realised after coming home.)

Pn. Sabina sends Pn. Asimah and I home, complaining a lot and 'airing her grouses' along the way. It's funny, but it's also very heart-rending when you hear about the life of a teacher. We students used to take for granted that these teachers are paid to adhere to our silly whims. In fact, they're not paid half of what they deserve for all the shit that they get. PEOPLE, LOVE YOUR TEACHERS! And no, noone paid me to say that! LOL!

When I got back home I gave Pn. Sabina my pink butterfly ring and red-bead necklace just in case they need it for the Full Dress Rehearsal and the actual night. (At time of writing, FDR is to begin in 3 minutes. I want to go. :( ) Oh well. 6 hours in my Alma Mater should suffice for today.

Times like these you wish you never left school. Lit Nite was always one of the greatest events of my school years, and I thoroughly miss the acting, practising, marketing, and making friends. This year, the banner is printed to save time and cost, it seems. I beg to differ, actually. Painting the banner was always an integral part of Lit Nite! It was always the bonding, laughing activity. The highlight of the initial preparations. Oh well, we have to give in to technology, I suppose.

Anyway, to do my girls justice..

Literary Night 2009 - Mosaics

See you there, baby!

On another note, I missed you so much, darling! It feels weird not seeing you on a day other than Saturday.. and even weirder that our parents have been so odd lately.
Tomorrow will be awesome-r, right? :)
Love you!

Sweet child of mine.

Don't cry for me, honey.

I'm here for you.

I love you!

Thursday, July 9, 2009

You're the only one worth my while.

It's about time I said something.

All my life, I've vented out how I feel.

And I don't know why I felt like I could've just sit here and take it,
apparently I was wrong!

My 'friends'. I won't mention who, but after reading this, you should know for yourself.
I know, maybe it's my fault that we've hardly seen each other and all that, but really, it isn't fair that I have to be the one to do reunions and stuff. And I know, college and university has caused all of us to move on, find new friends, but who the hell said you're supposed to just DUMP old ones and forget them? All of us are guilty at this, I'm not pointing fingers, but seriously, coming to me only when you need help and forgetting my birthday or a present and such is REALLY annoying. If you don't want to remain friends, it's easier to say it. I'm sure people like you will move on quickly enough and find new people to help you with your stupid work. I am NOT your slave in ANY way whatsoever, and I refuse to be. Screw you.

Ugh, SASA-rians, it seems. I HATE that title. If you guys want to have a 'SASA' dinner, PUH-LEASE, at least PRETEND that you've invited most of us! Stupid people only invited a handful of yourselves and then call it a SASA dinner, although most of you were the Council which everyone else boycotted, hence only ONE table at your silly dinner. Geez. Stupids.

Stupid internet fakes. GET LIVES. For the sake of the bloody Internet! Or freaking stay OFF it, and leave my friends and our blogs ALONE. Freaks.

Some of you have truly stuck with me by my side. I won't mention any names, but you guys will have special places in my heart always because I know I have one in yours too! Never fail to cheer me up or be with me when I need you people, and you always try to be a notch better than some low-lifes I know.

THANK YOU!
And stay so lovable!
